# On-Chain Governance

AIONET operates through a governance model that allows members to participate in the evolution of the ecosystem.

Governance is designed to be transparent, structured, and aligned with participation rather than capital. It enables members to contribute to decisions that shape the platform, while ensuring that influence is earned through activity and long-term engagement.

This is not a financial governance system. It does not control assets on behalf of users, nor does it distribute financial rights. Instead, it coordinates decisions related to the development, direction, and expansion of AIONET.

### Governance Scope

The DAO governs key areas of the ecosystem, including:

* product development and upgrades
* introduction of new features or mechanisms
* ecosystem expansion initiatives
* community-driven proposals

Governance does not extend to user funds or individual vaults. All user assets remain fully non-custodial and outside the scope of DAO control.

### Proposal Process

Governance follows a structured proposal lifecycle.

Any eligible member can submit a proposal, which is then reviewed and voted on by the DAO.

The process follows three stages:

| Stage    | Description                                             |
| -------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Proposal | A member submits a structured idea or change            |
| Review | The proposal is visible to the community for discussion |
| Voting | Members vote based on their governance power |

All proposals are transparent and recorded on-chain, ensuring that decisions are visible and verifiable.

***

### Voting Mechanism

Voting power within AIONET is determined by a combination of:

* membership tier
* profile level

This creates a system where influence reflects both access and contribution.

Votes are:

* executed on-chain
* recorded transparently
* weighted based on governance power

There is no off-chain override or manual intervention in the voting process.

***

### Governance Power Model

Governance power increases with participation and progression.

| Factor          | Contribution to Power         |
| --------------- | ----------------------------- |
| Membership Tier | Defines base voting power |
| Profile Level | Adds incremental voting power |

This ensures that:

* active users gain more influence over time
* long-term contributors shape the system
* governance cannot be dominated by passive participants

***

### Execution of Decisions

Once a proposal is approved, it moves into execution.

Depending on the nature of the proposal, execution may involve:

* protocol-level updates
* allocation of DAO-controlled resources
* activation of new system features

Execution follows predefined rules and is carried out through:

* on-chain actions where possible
* or structured implementation processes aligned with DAO decisions

There is no discretionary override after a vote is finalized.

***

### Non-Financial Governance Model

AIONET governance is intentionally designed as non-financial.

Participation in governance does not grant:

* ownership rights
* profit entitlements
* or claims on treasury assets

Instead, governance provides:

* influence over system direction
* participation in decision-making
* alignment with ecosystem development

This distinction ensures that governance remains focused on coordination rather than financialization.

***

### System Integrity

The governance model reinforces the broader design of AIONET.

By linking influence to:

* identity (membership)
* participation (profile progression)

the system ensures that decisions are made by users who are actively involved in the ecosystem.

This reduces:

* passive control
* speculative influence
* short-term decision-making

and promotes long-term alignment.

***

### Final Perspective

On-chain governance in AIONET is not designed to replicate traditional voting systems or token-based DAOs.

It is designed to coordinate a living ecosystem.

By combining structured proposals, transparent voting, and participation-based influence, AIONET creates a governance layer where decisions reflect real engagement and long-term commitment.

Governance is not about control.\
It is about responsibility within a shared system.
