# AIO Builders

### What Is a Builder?

A Builder within AIONET is a participant who actively contributes to the growth, education, and long-term development of the ecosystem.

This role is not assigned or self-declared. It is earned through verifiable on-chain activity, consistent participation, and measurable contribution. Builders are defined by their actions within the system, not by external influence or status.

Being a Builder reflects a deeper level of alignment with AIONET. It represents a shift from simple participation to active involvement in shaping the ecosystem.

### Activating the Builder Path

Every user begins by acquiring a Membership NFT and creating their on-chain profile.

To enter the Builder pathway, users must explicitly activate their Builder profile through the platform:

**Open your side menu Wallet → Become a Builder**

This step is intentional. It signals that the user chooses to participate as a contributor rather than remain a passive participant.

Once activated, the Builder layer becomes available, unlocking:

* profile progression and leveling
* achievement tracking and XP accumulation
* Builder Levels and network structure
* access to affiliate-based growth mechanisms

### Profile System and Progression

AIONET uses a unified progression system where all users advance through Profile Levels from 1 to 10.

Progression is based on real activity within the ecosystem. It reflects how users engage, contribute, and evolve over time.

Higher levels represent:

* increased system understanding
* deeper participation
* stronger alignment with the ecosystem

Level 10 represents full progression and sustained contribution across the platform.

Progression is powered by XP, which is earned through meaningful and verifiable actions.

These actions include engagement with the platform, participation in ecosystem mechanisms, and contribution to network growth.
